As the name suggests, it’s a bit tricky with a series of obstacles, including a maze of damaging fans. Still, it’s worth doing if you want to travel faster using the speeder thanks to the Atmospheric accelerator.
Luckily, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide on how to find the atmospheric accelerator in star wars outlaws.

How to start the Mechanic mission in Star Wars Outlaws
To start The Mechanic mission in Star Wars Outlaws, you need to speak to Danka’s contact at the Daruda Diner in Jaunta’s Hope. You can travel there by speeder or use the fast travel point if you have it enabled. Head inside And talk to the bartenderThey will offer to go and talk to you Selo Rovak aka The Mechanic.
Since the bartender hasn’t seen Selo recently, he advises you to go to a fishing village called Kadua to talk to his friends. The location will appear on your map.
Selo Rovak Location in Star Wars Outlaws
Kadua is located west of Mirogana Valley. There you will find two villagers working and after they talk briefly you will be able to talk to one of Selo’s friends to ask him where she can be found. He will tell you to head to a cliff northeast of Jaunta’s Hope.
When you arrive at the waypoint you will find Selo’s Shop where Selo will be sitting outside on the edge of the cliff. Interact with Selo to request the upgrade work on your speeder and she will ask you to find a special part she needs for this – the Atmospheric Accelerator. She will give you some Magnetic Disruptors which will come in handy soon.
Wind Harvester Location in Star Wars Outlaws
The first part of the Mechanic’s mission is to locate the wind turbineLuckily, Selo has marked this spot on your map, just northwest of Jaunta’s Hope. You can drive your speeder up the mountainside.
Selo will tell you to place the magnetic disruptors She gave you the console on the platform to the left of the fan earlier. This will stop the wind collector from moving and allow you to enter.
Drive your speeder Go down the tunnel. Your exit will be blocked, but you can turn right into another branch of the tunnel that will take you where you need to be.

Now for the tricky part. As you approach the entrance, head under the bridge in front of you, rather than over it. Otherwise, the fan on the bridge will deal damage. Once below deck, you will come across an energy barrier that you will need to turn off.
Send Nix to deactivate the energy barrier because he can use the ventilation system to his right. Once the barrier is deactivated, enter and enter the large ventilation system.
You will then have to climb a ladder into a tunnel filled with fans. Cross the bridge to the first two large fans. This is where you have to be patient. The fans will turn on and offso you will need to time your movements carefully. When both fans turn off, walk past them to avoid getting hurt.
Once you get past the fans, you will come across a platform where another fan will be spinning constantly. To turn it off, pull the knot on the left sideThis will disable the fan allowing you to pass.
Then you will need to mount the grid system on the wall. Jump over each grate, when prompted, but stop at the large fan and wait again for it to turn off. Once it’s off, quickly run through it.
You will then come across a tunnel with a large hole at the top. Let yourself fall into the tunnel and navigate through the pipe until you reach a gap in the walls.
Sneaking through space to enter the larger tunnel area where you will meet more fans.
Two large structures that move forward and backward through the wall block your path. Once they are inside the wall, quickly move past them.
SO, navigate the yellow grid structure to climb the wall. Once you reach the top, you will need to jump onto another fan, then climb onto the one above. Choose the right time so you don’t get thrown off the wall.
You will then reach a tunnel with a container. Replace the lock and collect the loot inside.
Just outside the tunnel you will need to pull two shiny knots on either side of an active fan to prevent it from running.
Then you can use your grappling hook to get past it and move to the next side.
You will then be able to jump onto a yellow bar and once again jump over a fan and climb onto the grate above. Continue climbing up the bars and grates and drop down onto the platform.
There will be more such structures that will spring out of the wall. Wait for them to return to the wall to run and continue climbing the yellow grate. When prompted, jump up using the yellow bars and platform ledges.
Once at the top, you will now need to use the structures that come out of the wall to jump over them. You will need to time your jump when the two lower structures are out, but the two upper ones are in, as they will shoot at you. As soon as you see an opportunity, jump quickly all the way
Use more yellow bars and go through the fans when they are off. At the end of these two fans, the bars will lead you upwards, to another ventilation system.
Enter the ventilation system and at the end of the ventilation tunnel, climb the ladder. This will lead you to an office where you can do some looting before atmospheric accelerator extraction from the terminal, when prompted. Finally, you have it.
HAS escape the wind harvesterExit the office through the door to the left of the terminal and use your grappling hook on the highlighted points to swing towards the large fan on the opposite wall.
Once there, your Speeder will be waiting for you. Go through the disabled fans and down a long tunnel to exit the wind recovery system.
Back to Selo’s shop and show Selo the Atmospheric Accelerator. This will complete the mission and unlock the Speed Boost ability that you can use on your Speeder, allowing you to perform short bursts of speed.
