The next episode of the Predator franchise, Predator: Badlandssecretly filmed with prey Director Dan Trachtenberg is back at the helm. And now, thanks to a new report, we know a little more about this next Predator Film.

2022 prey was a very good film and served as a kind of prequel for the entire Predator Franchise. After being released via streaming on Hulu, it received numerous awards, set some ratings records for the service and caused a lot of buzz. Disney-owned 20th Century Studios seems to have realized that they have a winning formula on their hands and are quickly working on the next Predator Film that is coming to cinemas this time.

As first reported by Subscribea website with a solid track record in reporting on Foreigner And Predator News, the next main line Predator The film has been shooting in New Zealand since July. The outlet spotted a casting sheet that included this synopsis for the film, which appears to be codenamed “Backpack.”

A groundbreaking film in which one of the two main storylines explores the complex bond between two very different sisters. Their familial ties are put to the ultimate test as they pursue different paths and missions.

The same casting sheet mentioned that an actress to play the twin sisters must be available in New Zealand between June and September. This is consistent with A NZ Herald Article which mentioned that an American film directed by Trachtenberg was being shot in several locations in the country. NZ Herald also reported the nickname “Backpack”. PvZGalaxy also found another report with what appears to be Upload photos from “Backpack”.

It is therefore very likely that the next Predator The film is currently in production. And for you prey Fans out there, don’t worry. It has already been reported that Trachtenberg will direct Loot 2 after Predator: Wasteland. In our future there will be a lot of hunting for alien big game.
