It is reported that the game is struggling to reach 20,000 concurrent players across all platforms. Another source said Insider Gaming that Ubisoft “would probably be happy” with that number, suggesting that the current player count is even lower.
Due to the low player numbers and Ubisoft’s deadlines and concerns, some at Ubisoft San Fran fear layoffs. The publisher has already laid off some San Fran employees. Earlier this month.
