The current Nintendo of Europe boss Stephan Bole is stepping down after six years in office and will be replaced by Luciano Pereña.
Stephan Bole, President of Nintendo of Europe, is leaving his employer after more than 35 years of service.
Bole was Marketing Director when he joined Nintendo’s French branch in 1993. In 2018, he took over as European head from Satoru Shibata.
There is already a successor.
Luciano Pereña, most recently Chief Financial Officer at the company, will replace Bole and take over the role of CEO, President and Chairman of the Board of Management of Nintendo of Europe.
Furthermore, Laurent Fischer was appointed COO and Tom Enoki was appointed Senior Managing Director for the Corporate Planning Office.
Nintendo recently completed the restructuring of all European branches. They now operate as a single organization under the name Nintendo of Europe SE. Local offices will remain open.
