Pokémon Company canceled 2020 Play! Pokémon competition languages. This includes two international competitions expected to be held on both continents, due to the complexity of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The 2020 North American International Championship is scheduled for June 26-28 in Columbus, Ohio, with the World Championship in London Aug. 14-16.
