Pokémon Company canceled 2020 Play! Pokémon competition languages. This includes two international competitions expected to be held on both continents, due to the complexity of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The 2020 North American International Championship is scheduled for June 26-28 in Columbus, Ohio, with the World Championship in London Aug. 14-16. With these two key events being canceled, the Championship Series has been canceled, and all games in all competitions are canceled until further details are given.
The Play! Pokémon league includes a trading card game and video game, and manages a "huge challenge" Pokémon sword and A shoe Players and the Challenge of the League of Card Game players in progress.
No intelligence points will be awarded over the remainder of the season; instead, all 2020 points will ride into the next season of Play! Pokémon in the year 2021. All invitations to these competitions will also be honored with the World Championship of 2021.
In a statement, the organizers of the tournament wrote, “We hope that the spirit of friendship and community that characterizes our amazing fans and that the events continue during this challenging time, and that you take care of yourself. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating with you again. ”
