You don’t have to wait long for Titan Quest 2. The sequel, or rather the revival of the celebrated hack-and-slash classic, is set to enter Early Access in winter 2024. The isometric action role-playing game is being developed by the Munich-based studio Grimlore Games. The developers recently shared 40 minutes of gameplay from their upcoming title on their YouTube channel; the material shown comes from the gamescom demo. In the video, Lead Systems Designer Balint Marczin and Grimlore Games’ Technical Art Director Florian Jonas guide you through their game and explain the basic mechanics of Titan Quest 2. At gamescom, the Grimlore team was also a guest of our RPG expert Maurice and spoke to him in our GameStar Talk about the hand-built Open World of Titan Quest 2.
