Anyone who plays the shooter WWI Isonzo, set in World War I, will be offered fresh content thanks to a free update.
The developers have now released the free Montello update for the title, which includes a new map. This map is inspired by the second Battle of the Piave River in June 1918, also known as the Battle of the Solstice. Here the Austro-Hungarian forces fought against the Italian forces for control of the Montello hill and the surrounding region. It was the last major Austro-Hungarian offensive on the Italian front.
On the map in the game you will find all kinds of farms, burning forests, destroyed villages and narrow trenches. You must use this environment to make strategic decisions. You also have new weapons at your disposal, such as the Mosin-Nagant rifle (in the game M.91 Russian repeating rifle) and the heavy hand grenade with fragmentation effect.
Aside from the free update, there is also a premium DLC: the “Shellshocked Units Pack”. This shows the merciless nature of war in the form of injured and exhausted troops with torn clothing and improvised equipment.
WW1 Isonzo is now available as a First Wave Edition. This new version comes with over 140 cosmetic items that were previously released in the first DLC packs.
With Montello, the World War II shooter WWI Isonzo receives a major expansion.
