One of the market conditions for greater perfection is to jump on screens with high refresh rates. One of the most surprising phones was the Samsung Galaxy S20, which went from one year to the next from 60 to 120 Hz, achieving two frames per second.
This mode offers a unique overlay, but also has a companion, and it can consume more battery. In Samsung's settings it simply allows us to choose between these two options. What if there was another way to live somewhere?
Yes, there is, and this program can help you achieve it.
An app that unlocks the private mode of the Samsung Galaxy S20
If you have a Galaxy S20 and are looking for a mid-point between spread and battery usage, the XDA Developers sathishtony user has developed an app that lets you customize the refresh rate of the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra slowly.
It's a very simple app, and it has only 2 buttons (which can also be added to the shortcut menu): change the refresh rate to 120 Hz or 96, the way that Samsung was hidden in the Global S20 system and that it's never allowed. The app does not require any connection or root or ADB, it works instantly. Just go to a website like TestUFO and see for yourself.
The most curious question is … why 96 hertz's not 90's? What did Samsung think? The answer is reasonable, and it is very important to select the samples well to be flexible in any situation. Most smartphones are typically reproduced at 60 photos per second, so up to 90 or 120 are completely allowed frequencies. 120 is also 24 parts, which is the number of frames per second. 96 is doubled by 24, managing the amount of refresh that can adapt well to cinematographic content.
And don't worry, it's not like pre-paid free apps. This app is completely free, so if you have a Galaxy S20, S20 + or S20 Ultra we recommend that you download the app from XDA Labs.
