Simulators for everyone: Three new highlights from Aerosoft announced.
Simulation specialist Aerosoft announced new simulator highlights at gamescom and PAX West: SubwaySim 2 from Simuverse Interactive invites you into the driver’s cab of Berlin and Hamburg’s subways. In Ice Truckers from Chronos North, players drive trucks through icy terrain. Polygon Art is developing Park Ranger Simulator, a title with a focus on cross-platform multiplayer.
SubwaySim 2
Railway fans can look forward to the public transport simulation SubwaySim 2, which invites players to Hamburg and Berlin. The game, developed by Simuverse Interactive, offers a total route length of over 40 kilometers and 51 stations that are faithfully reproduced in detail through the Hamburg and Berlin route network.
In contrast to its predecessor, SubwaySim 2 offers not only the well-known DT5 but also two trains from the Berlin subway network, including the subway train A3L92. For the first time, there will also be a career mode that simulates the everyday life of a subway driver and enhances the game with realism and replayability. Thanks to the Unreal Engine 5, the game promises breathtaking graphics and immersive experiences in Germany’s busiest subway networks.
Ice cream trucker
Ice Truckers is an extreme weather trucking simulation set in the Arctic, scheduled to be released in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Developed by Chronos North, the game invites players to navigate treacherous environments, contend with dynamic weather conditions, and master specialized vehicles tailored to icy terrain.
Players take part in various missions, interact with NPCs and face unexpected challenges that will test their skills and adaptability. With its addictive gameplay and stunning arctic landscapes, Ice Truckers aims to provide a unique and exciting trucking experience.
Park Ranger Simulator
With the Park Ranger Simulator, Aerosoft also has an exciting title on offer, which is scheduled to be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam for PC.
In the game, players take on the role of a park ranger in a 20 km² open-world environment. The game was developed in collaboration with Polygon Art and offers dynamic gameplay with 50 varied missions that reflect the daily tasks of a ranger, such as protecting wildlife, repairing facilities, and managing the ecosystem.
Players can either face these challenges alone or team up with friends in cross-platform multiplayer mode. With a range of vehicles and a resource management system, Park Ranger Simulator offers an immersive experience that focuses on protecting the delicate ecosystem and maintaining a park.
