Starting November 6, players will once again become theme park managers with Planet Coaster 2.

Frontier Developments announced that Planet Coaster 2, the roller coaster and water park simulation game, will be released on November 6, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Starting now, aspiring theme park managers can pre-order the sequel to Planet Coaster (2016) to receive the bonus ride collection, including the rotating FD Vision rail ride, the Outmax water coaster and the dizzying flat ride The Cube.

For players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition, there’s even more creative fun to be had with the Vintage Funfair Ride Pack, which includes ten additional roller coasters and rides inspired by iconic rides.

Planet Coaster 2 invites players to live out their imaginations with a spectacular selection of rides, slides and more.

With powerful creative tools, top-level customization options, and vibrant themes like Resort, Aquatic, Viking, and Mythology, you’ll push the boundaries of your creativity like never before.

Design sparkling swimming pools, scale landscapes to the perfect size, and build stunning, sprawling parks that provide the perfect backdrop for guests to create unforgettable memories.

In Planet Coaster 2, for the first time, players can quickly and easily customize rides and roller coasters down to the smallest detail to bring their ideas to life. A variety of exhilarating roller coasters and breathtaking thrill rides bring excitement to each park, along with lively water attractions such as slides, waterslides, wave pools and more to thrill and entertain.

The brand new Event Sequencer tool allows players to add mesmerizing effects to their attractions, including animatronics and water fountains that give guests the dramatic fanfare of real theme parks.

Even the most impressive park requires expert management, and in Planet Coaster 2 it’s never been easier for players to find key improvements that will improve their park rating and help them on their way to becoming a master of park management.

Helpful new heatmaps provide an overview of each park’s needs at a glance, while selecting any guest or staff member reveals insights into exactly what they’re thinking during their day, so players can take action.

The new water park gameplay offers even more authenticity with details inspired by real-life parks. Shade, sunscreen, lifeguards, changing rooms and more are paramount to ensure guests have their best day both in and out of the pool.

And of course, even the most sensational rides need a supply of electricity and water to keep them running, pools need to be kept clean and facilities should be maintained to the highest standards to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment.

Planet Coaster 2 offers more sharing opportunities than ever before, including for the first time the ability to jump into a shared sandbox level individually and build together across platforms.

Players can also visit their friends’ parks to experience their creations at the touch of a button, climb to the top of the leaderboard in Franchise Mode, and share and download blueprints and entire parks via the cross-platform Frontier Workshop.

Planet Coaster 2 will be released on November 6, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a suggested retail price of $49.99 for the standard edition. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $64.99, includes the Vintage Funfair Ride Pack – a collection of 10 charming attractions, from the nostalgic Grand Carousel to traditional wooden roller coasters.

Players who pre-order Planet Coaster 2 now will receive three exciting rides from the Bonus Ride Collection at launch.
