Here’s everything you need to know about Apex Legends’ new ‘Space Hunt’ collection event: its trailer, start date, new skins, the new ‘Knockout’ game mode, and trials in which we can definitively unlock two characters: Crypto and Wattson.
Let’s start by taking a look at the trailer, which is narrated in a very hilariously way by Mirage himself.
During the event we will be able to complete weekly challenges to permanently unlock two characters if we do not have them:
- Crypto for free: Complete the special challenges from September 17 to October 15.
- Wattson free: Complete the special challenges from October 1st to October 15th
When does the event start and end?
The start date of the ‘Space Hunt’ collection event Apex Legends It is the Tuesday, September 17, 2024. It will be available only until Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
New game mode: Knockout
This limited-time game mode is a 60-player (20 squads) version of Battle Royale in which we have to capture zones and get EVOs to accumulate points.
There are infinite respawns, but the five lowest scoring squads will be eliminated after each round until the sudden death final.
New skins and cosmetics for the Space Hunt event Apex Legends
During the event, players will be able to earn up to 36 new cosmetic items using Apex Coins and Crafting Metals. They can also be purchased in Apex Packs that are available during the event and contain a Space Hunt item and two standard items, with the guarantee that no event item will be duplicated.
The event’s mythic is the melee item Snake bite.
This mythical item can be equipped by any character, it can be customized with items that will be for sale and it gives us a special title if we manage to make 5 eliminations with it in a single game.
