We already know that Hellraiser 2’s upcoming patch will make some pretty powerful enhancements to the weapons available to the diver, but Arrowhead has also been tasked with making certain enemies a little easier to deal with. With that in mind, the explosive potential of Rocket Destroyers and Gunships will be subject to some additional restrictions.
The studio is currently providing a brief description of patch 01.001.007, building on what was shared in last week’s blog post and preparing for the update to be released on September 17, with the release of Chemical Warfare Contracts coming a few days later.

Arrowhead’s latest update notes mention rocket-carrying enemies, which have been a subject of criticism from players, with overuse of ragdolls also being another issue. Basically, they’ve taken steps to make it easier for players to deal with these enemies, which are able to fire enough explosive firepower to overwhelm even well-armed units like Helldivers.
“Rocket Destroyers now have a limited number of rockets, and when they run out, you can see them disappear. A reload mechanic has been added to the backpack to replenish rockets,” Arrowhead wrote. “Also, rocket physics collisions are now smaller, making them easier to avoid.”
“I think their machine guns will only fire three rounds before they need to reload because they have ammo packs. They can reload once,” developer Niklas Malmborg said of the Destroyer in another brief video chat, in which he discussed the upcoming changes with Arrowhead chief business officer Johan Pilestedt. He also confirmed that the collision area of each rocket has been reduced by 80%, and that gunships will also be able to run out of ammunition.

How does the addition of the final creature affect the gameplay? Pilestedt put it this way: “I hide behind a rock, they ejaculate all over me, and then I can get out of cover.” Video games.
