The Square Enix title already has reached the final stage of development according to advertising which can be seen on the game’s official Twitter/X account where you can see a photo of series producer Masaaki Hayasaka and saga creator Yuji Horii celebrating the event.
Having reached this stage of development does not mean that work on the title has stopped, in fact, the Asano team and Artdink are perhaps refining some aspects of the title and even working on a patch that will arrive with the release of the game.

This delivery is approximately a remake of 1988’s Dragon Quest 3: The Seeds of Salvationwhere the player takes on the role of Erdrick on an adventure to defeat his archenemy Baramos once and for all. The remake has a completely renewed visual aspect similar to what can be seen in Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy. Additionally, some aspects of the protagonist’s appearance can be changed, to which new skills have also been added.
