This version of One UI has arrived alongside the company’s new foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, and the first compatible devices have already started receiving it via an update. However, the Older models, including the Galaxy S22, will have to wait a little longer before you can enjoy the new version of the Samsung Galaxy operating system.

The update to One UI 6.1.1 will reach these Samsung phones, but it will take a little longer
Samsung Galaxy devices that will hit the market in 2022 will take a little longer to receive the update. Specifically, These are the devices that will take time to update to One UI 6.1.1:
The first devices that have already started receiving the update to One UI 6.1.1 are the Galaxy S24, the fifth-generation foldables (Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5) and will soon be followed by the Galaxy S23. Samsung has listed these devices in the official announcement regarding the new version of One UI, however, the Galaxy S22 and the other devices listed above were not included in this version.
This has led many to suspect what seems inevitable: Samsung’s top-of-the-line phones for 2022 will get One UI 6.1.1, but it will take longer. Plus, These devices will not receive all artificial intelligence functions which includes this update, due to its older hardware. They will benefit from some AI features, but not all.
Likewise, it is not known whether the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 and the rest of Samsung’s premium devices arriving in 2021 will receive the update to One UI 6.1.1, or if the company will update them directly to One UI 7. when it is available, what will be the latest version of the operating system that these devices will receive.
