It’s been a while since Reggie Fils-Aimé, the charismatic frontman who became a an emblematic figure of Nintendo of America, announced to fans via a video his decision to step down as president of the company. This announcement marked the end of an era for Nintendo fans.
Now the former president has shared interesting words on his official X account (Twitter). The former president has shown interest in talking about the current state of the industry. This is expected to possibly be at the next Game Awards, as he has responded to Geoff Keighley on the social network implying that he wants to talk about issues such as the high price of the PS5 Pro.
The video game industry is actually going through a volatile period with longer projects, unsustainable budgets and layoffs all over the world, while Nintendo seems to be holding up better, releasing successful games and managing its hardware strategy successfully. It will certainly be interesting to hear Reggie’s take on all of this.
