Microsoft has officially announced that it is closing the Xbox Ambassador program after 13 years of operation. This program for Xbox users had its heyday a few years ago, although in recent times we have heard little about it.
After 13 years, Microsoft confirmed that the program would close on October 15. The company expressed its gratitude for all these years to all those who trained in the program, Now the Xbox community is evolving in different ways and this program no longer had a place.
Xbox Ambassador Program Ends
- As part of this development, the Xbox Ambassador website will be unavailable on October 15th and all Xbox Ambassadors will have until that date to claim any pending codes or rewards.
- All Ambassadors who were active this season received a special thank you, so check out their rewards page for more details.
- Until October 15, we will be holding weekly drawings to help you use up your ticket balance.
- While Ambassador Missions will be disabled, the Accessibility Explorer path will remain open. We want to encourage those who have not yet unlocked the Accessibility Ally badge to do so, even though experience points will no longer be awarded.
- We understand the role and importance of Discord communities, and as part of our future work, we will help identify new channels for players to come together and find connections across common gaming interests.
- Your Xbox Ambassador badge will be updated with a special legacy skin.
