Warhammer 40,000 video games keep rolling out! This is based on the aerial combat desktop Aeronautica Imperialis.
Unlike Dakka Squadron, an action-focused Warhammer 40,000 aerial combat game that gives Orks the lead role, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is a turn-based strategy game. You play the role of flight commander in the Imperial Navy or in Ork Air Waaagh! Play a role in Skwadron Kommanda, directing thunderbolts, raiding bombers, Fightas and Bommas in dog fights.
Expect fully licensed models from game studios, seven story-driven scenes, games that can be played in single player or online, and training systems.
"Imperial Airlines: Flight Command" was developed by the new British studio Binary Planets and released by Green Man Gaming. It will be released on the PC version of Steam this May. The trailer is below.
