Over 30 million players have already worked on Call of Duty: Warzone and are apparently enjoying the Battle Royale offshoot of Modern Warfare. However, with such masses it does not fail to creep in some black sheep. Activision has now taken action against these and has given over 50,000 players a permanent ban, as the publisher has announced on the Activision blog.
You want to make sure that the virtual battlefield is always fair and put a lot of work into this area. Teams would check data around the clock and identify possible wrongdoings. Cheats and hacks like aimbots or wallhacks would be examined closely. The reporting system in the UI is to be improved and revised to simplify the reporting of cheaters. Activision wants to keep the community informed about ban numbers in the future.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a free Battle Royale video game released on March 10, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is also part of the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title.
