Interactive Saber will increase server capacity in Space Marine 2 and adjust overall AIwill also adjust the “Veteran” difficulty in a “future patch” by adjusting the overall aggressiveness of the enemy AI.
Connectivity issues have been observed, including persistent server issues, inability to connect with friends, and loss of files.
Currently, the team andprioritizes increasing server capacity while working “day and night” on current issues. A “bigger patch” will delve deeper into thiswhich will include new content (likely referring to the upcoming Battle Barge PvP arena).
Another issue is the AI bots, which players find ineffective, especially with objectives. The developer said its passiveness was meant to put the player in the spotlight, but admitted some changes were needed.. “In the next patch, we’ll be making some improvements to their behavior during boss fights in the campaign. “We’re also considering improving their engagement during specific campaign objectives for a later patch.”
As for Veteran difficulty, currently too hard solo due to said inefficient bots, Saber I will adjust it in a “future patch”. The challenge will remain, but the AI aggression is getting some “tweaks” to even things out. There will be no changes to other difficulties, however.
When we reviewed Space Marine 2, we never thought it could be such a great game, although it’s true that after the years of development, we coveted it to get our hands on it.
