Fortnite returns to iPad thanks to the Epic Games Store and iPadOS 18

Epic Games fought hard to bring Fortnite back to iPadOS and iOS. However, they failed to bring it back to the App Store. They succeeded thanks to the strict control of the European Union in compliance with the LMD

and the creation of the Epic Games Store, an alternative business store that allows you to directly provide games not available on the App Store bypass some of Apple’s restrictions.

This alternative store can be installed in the European Union and was previously only available for iOS. However, iPadOS 18 added support for alternative app stores,
