After a long wait, Arcane Season 2 is almost here, and Netflix has finally confirmed when you can watch the final season.
This week was Geek Week at Netflix, and the streamer made a number of announcements, including a new Cyberpunk anime series coming soon, and the equally highly anticipated Devil May Cry anime is also set to premiere. But what League of Legends fans will be most interested in is a new trailer for the second (and final) season of the animated series Arcane. The entire trailer basically plays like a suitably edgy 2000s music video, perfectly fitting the mood Vi was in after the first season ended. In addition to this new trailer (which you can watch below, but be warned, this trailer may induce seizures), Netflix has also confirmed when you can watch the new season.

But there is a catch, just like the first season, this season is divided into three acts, the first act will start on November 9, the second act will start the next week (November 16), and the third act will start the week after that (November 23). Netflix has not yet revealed how many episodes there are in the first act, but the first season also had three acts and nine episodes, so the second season may have a similar division.

It’s worth noting that this is not only the second season of Arcane, but also its final season. It’s not all bad news, because when the news was announced in June, Riot Games Creative Director Christian Linke said: “Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and collaboration with Fortiche, an amazing animation studio. From the beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very clear ending in mind, which meant that Arcane’s story would end in Season 2. But Arcane is just the first of many stories we want to tell in Runeterra.”
Once Arcane is all wrapped up, you’ll probably be keeping an eye out for the next installment in the League of Legends universe – you’ll just have to pray that the next character picked is your favorite.
