If you’re excited about Linkin Park’s return and still struggling to get into 2AM League of Legends ranked matches, then you might be happy to hear that those two interests are about to collide tomorrow, thanks to the band’s creation of this year’s Worlds theme song.

Riot Games announced via multiple platforms including Twitter that the song and music video trailer are now available. Like previous music videos Riot has made, it will be fully animated and themed around Runeterra and the wider League of Legends canon. There may even be a big trophy – who knows!

For those who are more into League of Legends fandom than the musical side of things, Linkin Park is a very popular band that recently returned with a new lead vocalist. With a new album in the works, it seems the band has also found time to write and perform new songs for Riot Games. It’s unclear what exactly this song will actually be, but considering contributions from former artists like Lil Nas X and Imagine Dragons, the song should match the artist’s typical work. If you like the band, this is definitely a good thing.

If this gets you excited, tune in to the League of Legends YouTube channel at 8 a.m. PT on September 24 to hear the track. Then, if you want, you can prepare for the World Championship itself, which will begin this fall and end with the Grand Finals in November.
