Epic It usually distributes a few releases each week. Sometimes a game alternates with a complement to another multiplayeror when the quality is not very good, opt for two that, at least, serve to expand our PC library. And this week, however, the Americans preferred to leave only one that, in truth, will surprise you and, above all, transform you into small characters who travel through a gigantic world of human beings.
We won’t be the ones to tell you something you don’t know, but the history of mouse games is full of little masterpieces. Without going any further, both Mousse of PS VR are real gems, or even the famous Ghost of a fairy tale and of course, going back even further, we find Mickey Mouse In Castle of Illusion or the cool ones Magic Quest from the always glorious Capcom, for Super Nintendo.
Epic gives us a wonderful mouse game
So this week what Epic has decided is that it will allow us to transform into a mouse (or rather a female mouse) who moves around the screen with a third person perspective and whose protagonist belongs to a game called The Spitir and the Mouse, which tries to offer us a very different gaming experience from what we are used to. Because in this case, it is not a question of fleeing an evil empire but rather the key to its pleasure lies in much more banal things.
The game takes us to a small French village that we can explore from top to bottom without any problem and whose inhabitants will need the help of this little rodent who, sometimes, will transform into a sort of guardian angel , capable of solving the problems that afflict everyone who lives there. Our mission will be to know what is happening, to ally ourselves with almost supernatural powers (the spirit) and to apply the magic of good to each action.
This way The Spirit and the Mouse It becomes a narrative game where what they tell us, what we see, what we understand and how we will then resolve it has a particular weight. Thus, we move away from the more classic and simple concepts to really enjoy the story and a setting that allows us to see the world through the eyes of a very, very small creature (if you have problems with the controller, look).
