PEPP-PT: New application can fight the spread of coronavirus

A new application can effectively fight the spread of coronavirus. The application was developed on the basis of the so-called PEPP-PT, which works via Bluetooth and can tell you if you have come into contact with a person infected with Corona.

The PEPP-PT [Pan-European Privacy Protection Proximity Tracking] project provides a sub-structure for new applications that may be resurrected at Easter. More than 130 scientists, technicians, and developers are developing a program that can notify you if you have been in contact with a person infected with coronavirus. The application will be provided by the Robert Koch Institute [RKI] in Germany.
