Now, with the update to One UI 6.1.1, the operating system adds a new possibility: transform our photos and selfies into artistic portraitsby applying different effects. In other words, we can take a selfie and turn our face into some kind of cartoon or a character that looks like a Pixar movie.

Using this tool is very simple, we just need to follow these steps:

We can apply various effects to the portrait to give it the desired style; We currently have four options: Comics, 3D animation, watercolor and sketches. By choosing one, the tool will create a series of images based on the portrait, applying the desired effect. If we don’t like any of the results, we can press the button to generate more.

There is no limit, we can generate any images we want. To download the ones we like, just press the arrow button in the lower left corner of the image. It will be saved in the gallery with a tiny watermark indicating that it was created with artificial intelligence.

After a decade with an Android phone, I upgraded to an iPhone three months ago. I already know which platform I will choose.

And that’s it, you can have fun creating an original avatar for your WhatsApp or for your social network accounts, or surprise your family members by taking their own portraits with AI.
