With all the controversy that has arisen in recent hours on the competing console and the problem of advertising as the wallpaper of each game, it is a magnificent opportunity to highlight one of the coolest, new generation and every adjective you can think of: the ability to configure dynamic backgrounds in our console. This is an Xbox Series only feature
And excuse us for feeling like we’re in space, but we literally some of us have been in since yesterday with Shattered Space, the new Starfield expansionwhich surprised many. We know it’s not included in any Game Pass tier, but many of us purchased Starfield’s “Deluxe Edition Upgrade” to play before and now we can also enjoy the DLC from the first moment.
Shattered Space also brings space to your wallpaper
In this case, it was the official account itself that informed us yesterday of the availability of this new dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S, as you can see in this tweet below and see what it would look like on your TV or monitor:

If you don’t know how to configure the background, it’s super simple:
- You need to press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization > My wallpaper > Dynamic wallpapers.
- You can choose between dynamic Gaming backgrounds, where there are Shattered Space, Xbox or Abstract backgrounds. Find the desired background image with the A button.
