A few weeks before the release of Farming Simulator 25, Giants Software reveals in more detail the big news of this new episode. A first for the franchise.
While the extensive licenses continue to be based on a cycle of annual releases, Farming Simulator has taken the time to review its copy. After a three-year break, the star of the agricultural world returns with great fanfare on November 12th. A successor that puts a lot of emphasis on the new features and represents a great first for the franchise.
Travel to Asia with Farming Simulator 25
For the first time in the history of the license, the farming simulator will fly to East Asia. New livestock, graphical improvements and new crops await aspiring farmers next month, as well as a map of this new territory. Hutan Pantai, revealed during the Tokyo Game Show 2024, promises to be an exotic map for players. It will also feature a sea-facing port with views of pretty snow-capped mountains, monuments and cherry blossoms typical of the region, and winding roads connecting rural areas to the city. The perfect playground to test the new features of this Farming Simulator 25. Farmers can now grow rice in two varieties: beans, spinach and even raise buffalo and goats.
In addition to the one in Asia, two additional maps will be offered at the start of Farming Simulator 25. One will be in North America, the other in Central Europe, like all previous iterations for many years. Giants Software also promises more than 400 machines and tools from the world’s biggest agricultural brands, as well as new missions to keep players busy. The publisher wants to offer more individualization and freedom when building farms. Farming Simulator 25 will also introduce the new Giants graphics engine, which pays more attention to textures, graphics and the play of shadows and lights. New features will be available on November 12th on PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Mac. As a reminder, there will be a collector’s edition, but fans are already flocking to it. However, it is still available for PC.
