Activision is working behind the scenes to ensure cheating in Call of Duty: Battlefield.
A new liar problem has been exposed in the past few days Call of Duty: War Zone. Posts about encountering blatant cheating appear daily on the game's subreddit and show no signs of slowing down.
In response, Activision said that more than 50,000 players have been permanently banned since the launch of Warzone. The company also talked about how to combat cheating in games.
The big news is that in-game reporting is being improved to make it easier for players to report suspicious behavior.
Publishers use multiple methods to combat cheating, depending on input from security teams that monitor data and identify suspicious statistics and detect cheating in targeting robots and other statistics that may not be immediately apparent.
The security team also monitors player reports and investigates whether bans are needed in each case.
Activision wrote: "We recognize that there is no single solution to combating fraudsters and that they are continuously implemented 24/7 every day." "Rest assured that we are committed to ensuring a fun and fair experience for everyone."
In other Warzone news, everyone will get double XP, weapon XP, and dual-level upgrades this weekend, the last cheer before the end of Season 2. Season 3 begins on Tuesday with Duos, Quads and more leaking.
