Mining resources, exploring the map, building a base – this triad should sound familiar to fans of classic real-time strategy games. The new Rogue Command also offers this. But the game also combines RTS mechanics with roguelike elements. Players are faced with the challenge of setting up a new and unique army with each run. After each battle there are blueprints that can be used to expand your arsenal with units or buildings. The blueprints add improvements that expand your abilities and enable different combos. During battles and skirmishes it should also be possible to reduce the speed by 10 percent. The weather and the environment should also play a major role. Enemies can be lured into fog, which slows them down, or attacked from the cover of a sandstorm. Rogue Command goes into Early Access on Steam on November 18, 2024.
