Apple released an iOS update at an unusual time to fix some critical iOS 18 launch bugs. iOS 18.0.1 was released on a Thursday afternoon – which is very unusual for system releases. Apple exploit – and fixes some of the most important bugs with the new version iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.
Notably, iPadOS 18.0.1 is available for iPads with M4 processors, after Apple released and then quickly pulled iPadOS 18 for those devices after some users found it made their expensive new iPads unusable.
