As can hardly be expected from a game of this size, Star Wars Outlaws also has its quirks. Title Update 1.2 is now here and eliminates a number of them.
Star Wars Outlaws has several problems, and that doesn’t just mean the meager sales. There are also a few quirks that have crept in, even if the game isn’t bad overall. Only recently there was a roadmap according to which most of the problems should be fixed by mid/end of November and the title update 1.2 has now started.
The list of fixes from the Patch notes for Title Update 1.2 for Star Wars Outlaws is long. Very long, in fact, and some aspects immediately catch the eye. The overall stealth experience has been optimized by adjusting AI detection, number of NPCs and their positioning, patrol paths, camera detection, and highlighting opportunities in the environment to reduce friction for the player. Really not bad, as the stealth aspect attracted a lot of criticism.
Further revisions affect the control and camera of the speeder, including with regard to the camera position after FoV adjustments. In addition, you are now thrown off significantly less often after collisions. There is also a long list of gameplay optimizations and the UI and HUD have also been tweaked.
The performance has also been further optimized, especially with regard to VRAM, RTX, frame generation and Ray Reconstruction, and the cutscenes have also been refined a little. Unsurprisingly, you will also find a whole series of fixes for the main and side quests in the patch notes.
