Okay, guitars aren’t really a thing in the Monster Hunter games as far as I remember. But hey, promotions can get a little wilder. A special edition of Fender guitars is now to be released for Monster Hunter Wilds. Whereby “now” means the coming year, as part of the 20th anniversary of the game series.
The good thing is called the Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster and it actually looks pretty tasty and pleasingly stylish, so you shouldn’t expect a fat monster head on the body. However, the baby has its price, a whopping $1,999.99 is the order of the day to get hold of a copy, including a case and certificate.
The description states: “The guitar symbolizes the tremendous power of the fire dragon Rathalos, often referred to as the king of the skies and an icon of the Monster Hunter game series. The majestic presence of the Rathalos has been carefully integrated into the entire instrument, with his Symbol on the body back and 12th fret inlay, the signature feather and flame patterns and the guild mark on the body front.
