Wario Land-inspired action platformer Antonblast has been delayed a month due to its developer, Summitsphere, being based in the southeastern United States, where Hurricanes Helene and Milton have left hundreds dead and millions without power.
Summitsphere host and Antonblast director Tony Grayson shared on X that everyone at the studio is safe, but that the storms have indirectly and directly made the final weeks of development much more challenging.
Because of this, and because the studio wants to release only the best version of its game, Antonblast has been delayed from November 12th to December 3rd.
But to make up for it, a new demo, titled “One Blast Demo,” will be available to play at Steam Next Fest and will also be headed to the Nintendo Switch once approved by the platform.
