SEGA has announced that it will publish a new manga on October 18 which documents Sonic Chao and Shadow Chao on a special journey.
It has an official name Sonic X Shadow Generations X Chao and will be written by fan favorite Ian Flynn, with lyrics by Misa Shion and colors by Min Ho Kim. No other information has been shared beyond this, but we do have an illustration to accompany this announcement:
“As Sonic and Shadow go through their journey in SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS… what is Chao up to? Join Sonic Chao and Shadow Chao on a special journey by @IanFlynnBKC! The SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS X CHAO manga is out next Friday, October 18 !”
As you might have guessed, this is all part of the prelude to the release of Sonic X Shadow Generations arriving next week on October 25, 2024. Sonic fans were also recently treated to a three-part anime-style series titled ‘Dark beginnings‘. The last episode aired for free last week.
