It's safe to say that Crossing the Animals: New Horizons it went down well with fans of the series and new players alike. Social media has been completely blown away as people are busy on their deserted islands, filling their Critterpedias with bugs and fish, designing their own clothes, renovating their islands and generally having a good old time. The game has infiltrated the mainstream media in the way a few games do, with non-gamers to pay attention and ask how all this unpleasant, colorful stuff is.
And with the way things are going on for most people in the world at this difficult time, we can't think of a better video game to calm everyone down and remind us that everything will be fine in the end. Crossing the Animals: New Horizons is a totally unique video game.
Not perfect, but – what is a video game? The question of how Nintendo can improve Crossing Animal Crossing has been flooding our minds like a regular robot over the past few days. The switchch entry has prepared a lot of things with the Animal Crossing experience, but there are still a few places we wouldn't be able to see have been refined in the update.
Fortunately, the ideas we brought with you indeed things you can exchange for a security. The basic game is more than a notch; we simply touch these. However, after joint spending, many hours and game, here are a few suggestions for improvement that we would like to see in the future.
Batch into crafting
Yes, look at you manila clams. Anyone who has spent the last days of March hunting for Gold Trout or Stringfish will know about the pain of endless personal pursuits. Yes, you can hammer it & # 39; A & # 39; get the fish out fast, but you might get an RSI if you do 30 in a row like we did. Many times.
The option to simply select an item and adjust the size you would like to make a boat would be a lifesaving, or more accurately, thumb saver. We would be happy with a 30-second montage as we watched our character disappear, wiping the sweat in anger from their forehead before delivering the finished 30 fish baits.
However, the ability to compose multiple objects in one go will be greatly appreciated.
Diamond tools
It seems that Gold's tools are not just shiny, long-lasting tools that are standard tools in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In previous games the golden versions of your tool set seemed to be & # 39; better & # 39; than their normal counterparts – the disturbance net was huge, the bullet shooting three pellets, etc. – but in this case it seemed to give no improvement. What else, they are breaking!
The idea of Gold tools has always been a little strange considering when you found out, you may have already completed all the useful tasks (you separated all the flowers, caught all the bugs and fish, etc.). And now that Gold Tools breaks like any other, they … well, they're useless. What we need someone else tool tool, diamond tools. They would not break, work better, they would be perfect.
For all we know there is already something in the game, or Nintendo has plans to release something similar on the ground. We know it's a bad form to blame your tools (bad guys, and all that), but we can provide you with a diamond fishing rod!
Inventory filtering options
Inside your house you are able to open your storage by right-clicking on the D-pad and sorting the items in alphabetical order either Time or Type. Once you're out again, however, you can only edit your inventory (the & # 39; X & # 39;) button by selecting an item, holding & # 39; A & # 39; Why not add a function of the same type from Storage to the items in our hands, too?
Optional touch screen support for Menus and Custom Shape
Nintendo is inconsistent when it comes to using the screen as an input touch for first-team games. Other games (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, for example) allow you to use the touchscreen of menus, and we'd like to see this used in Animal Crossing, too. It's already available for typing (press the & # 39; R & # 39;) button, but we can't see any reason why it shouldn't and should be a menu navigation option, adjusting your home design and building Designs. It may not be as precise as it was before, but it is surprisingly not included as an alternative.
Further, it can be argued that an additional touch-only system would be a great accessibility option. Well done Animal Crossing: Animal World, and despite the absurdity of our fingers or the Turnch stylus compared to the Nintendo DS stylus, we can't think of an obvious barrier to using optional touch controls.
Quickly developed tools (app map to D-pad navigation)
The Quick Ring Tool is very useful for avoiding frustrating times when navigating through all your tools looking for the right one. However, there is cycling everything loaded, preferring the option to display a map of some tools on the left, right and bottom buttons on the D-pad. That way we have access to our most commonly used tools at the same time. Want to get rid of them? Hit the button again. Simple!
It's a small thing, but alternating between a pole, a ladder and some of our tools is smothering, using Tool Ring, and especially in the early game when your island has no bridges and drains and you have to constantly blow your beam out.
Snappier UI
Animal Crossing is an underground lifestyle that promotes beauty slightly we are alive, and we love that. However, we will not overlook the extra enjoyment in its menus. Not bad by any means, we just feel the changes can be snappier. We have places, fish to catch, people to see!
Speed up online travel time
The first time we visited someone else's island we absolutely loved the seaplane flyover and Wilbur's talk over the intercom providing local time and weather. It's great if you're one person who is on another's island. However, there are many online visitors to watch every single fly when a newcomer arrives, that sequence quickly explodes.
If you're just visiting a friend or two, it's probably not a big problem for you. If you're inviting people to an island party, though, it is best to set aside 20 minutes while everyone else is flying. We would love to see the time travel when playing online find boost.
Multiplication multiplication by Bllies
Let's put this suggestion and the fact that we love feathers. The knowledgeable night owl that manages the museum is one of our favorite characters, and while it is known for its slow progress, we think it is very beautiful. More often than not we dutifully listen to his factoids about the bugs, fish and fossils we bring him.
& # 39; Slow progress & # 39; and & # 39; obviously repeating them & # 39; they are two different things, though, and while we have to get used to them from previous games, Bllies' repeated conversations can start to fade. This applies to any character that creates yity, even though it doesn't seem to have such a problem with others – probably because we talk to him (exploring fossils, too often). We would love to have him have several exchanges that are his repertoire of phrases.
There are ways to incorrectly avoid a certain Bllines continuity by donating items or exploring fossils in abundance, but some of the dialogue in this introductory essay will be inconsistent.
Ability to Transform the Citizens' Attitude on the Island
This is precisely what many families with one Switch will have. For whatever reason, Nintendo has taken the & # 39; Alternative Swap, One Ship & # 39; New Horizons. However, there are other choices being made that may make little sense to us – you cannot change your Island Resident Representative.
Progress and projects are tied to one person in the New Horizons (& # 39; Mayor & # 39; game, if you will) and others who are unable to name the projects or treat the island in the same way. This is great as long as the basic player – the person who invented the island and started the game – is still actively playing. If that player loses interest or is unavailable, however, anyone else living on the island is trapped (in the sense of moving forward). Being able to change a Resident Rep can solve this problem.
This is an issue that many players will never encounter or even discuss, but for people (especially families) this matters, the power to change your Island Citizen Advocate can be wonderfully useful.
