Speculation was high when Nintendo announced that it was planning a mysterious online test for a select number of users who could sign up to participate. Now that the program is live it turns out that the game is actually an MMO similar to Minecraft where players can team up online to help develop a huge planet using creativity and farming resources. There are special tools available called Beacons that can be placed and give the planet a healing light that purifies any decay. The Beacon Zone can be expanded and will prove necessary to give your planet the best chance of success. The Beacon Zone is your own zone for working and storing your tools and resources. The untitled game also has a special social hub where players can gather with other players. We won’t go into further details, no doubt gameplay footage will appear online giving us all a better idea of what the game is like.
