Another game that has just joined the crossover fever is Crytek’s popular competitive multiplayer extraction horror title. Hunt: Showdown 1896 will have a collaboration with the horror movie saga Scream which will allow us to play with a very curious version of GhostFace, but this news ended up dividing a fan base that is not completely happy with the current state of the game.

This paid DLC – whose release date has not been revealed but will surely be available before the end of October 2024 – contains the following:
- legendary hunter GhostFace
- legendary knife Life Taker
- Bornheim No3 with legendary silencer Whisper
- Frontier 73C with legendary silencer Hush
As we said at the beginning of this news, collaboration with Scream which adds Ghostface to Hunt: Showdown 1896 not all players are happy. Many of the comments on the announcement complain that this character doesn’t fit into the game at all or express their fear that the game is going to become another Fortnite o Call of Dutyfull of collaborations that only aim to sell microtransactions. Others simply think the hat they put on the character is ridiculous.
These criticisms add to the general discontent that exists among the gaming community in recent months due to changes in game systems, multiple bugs and excessive microtransactions despite the fact that this is a paid game.
Ghostface is a very popular character in video game crossovers. We have seen it in titles like Mortal Kombat, CoD y even in Among Us.
