Last year’s animated adaptation of Pharmacist Diaries was a surprise hit, and now, after a long wait, Season 2 has finally been given a release date.
Mostly, when you think of last year’s hit anime, you probably remember series like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End or Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, but those in the know will note that Pharmacist Diary is quite Popular too. If you don’t know, but you’ve seen a period anime where a girl with dark green hair and a light green robe is with a handsome gentleman with flowing purple hair, then you know it! Fans of the show will be pleased to hear and see that a trailer has been shared, along with a release date: January 10, 2025.

It’s now less than three months away from release, so you really don’t have to wait too long, and while the trailer is only in Japanese, it looks like there’s going to be plenty of drama as well. Based on the light novel series, Crunchyroll’s official description explains: “Maomao lived a peaceful life with her pharmacist father. Until one day, she was sold to the palace to work as a humble servant. But she was not cut out for a life of obedience So when the royal heir fell ill, she decided to step in and find a cure!
