Metaphor ReFantazio is one of the best games of the year and the developers put a lot of emphasis on it. A new patch has just been released.
A serious contender for the title of GOTY 2024 for many people, Metaphor ReFantazio caused a stir upon its release and even became one of the highest rated games of the year. Rightly so, this excellent JRPG from Altus has almost everything to offer. It’s beautiful, artistically inspired, generous and well put together… a must-play that’s extremely well reviewed on Metacritic and has even exploded the counters on Steam.
The studio is aware of this incredible success and is placing great emphasis on correcting his foal’s few remaining issues. Metaphor is therefore receiving a small update to fix the few problems it has on consoles and PC. We are talking about the occurrence of save data crashes for the New Game + mode and the famous “other minor fixes” about which we have no details. On PC, the studio announces that it has added a new antialiasing feature that can be changed directly from the settings menu. Finally, some adjustments have been made to the audio balance, which is now more important
