“We want to show what we can do”
The Polish study Team Bloober dropped a bomb last week during the Xbox Partner Preview event with the unveiling of Kronos: The New Dawn. SO. It seems that its next title coming to Xbox consoles will be a new dawn for the studio responsible for the recent remake of Silent Hill 2.
In an interview, the studio told GameSpot that “he’s already made some crappy games”but now “has evolved” following its partnership with Konami. The team says it will use what it learned from Silent Hill 2 to develop its upcoming games, including Kronos: The New Dawn.
“It was tough in those two years leading up to the release of Silent Hill 2.
We went through some pretty bad seasons, but now there is a very good state of mind within the team. “We want to demonstrate what we can do on our own, without outside help, how we can evolve our ideas. »
Cronos is coming to Xbox in 2025, and it looks like a real gift for horror fans. The studio aims to mix “Eastern European brutalism” with “retrofuturistic technology” in its new IP, which is in full swing after the launch of Silent Hill 2, which we hope will come to Xbox at some point.
We enjoyed most of it Bloober previously created Layers of Fear, Blair Witch and The Mediumbut Konami’s remake seems to be a step forward for the studio and we hope they can take it a step further with Cronos: The New Dawn. The launch of the next title for Xbox is planned for next year.
