Monster Hunter fans will get a taste of next year’s game, Monster Hunter Wildswith an open beta test later this month, Capcom announced Wednesday. In addition to allowing players to try out one of the game’s early hunts, the Monster Hunter Wilds The beta allows players to complete an important and time-consuming task: character creation.

Open Beta participants will also receive a special bonus for playing, including a decorative charm for their weapons or Seikret mount, as well as a “helpful item pack” (potions, rations, etc.) for the full release Monster Hunter Wilds.

Open Beta preload begins October 30th at 8:00 PM PDT. PlayStation Plus subscribers can presell even earlier on October 27th at 8:00 PM PDT.
The full version of Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28, 2025.
