Legacy of Kain Remastered is coming soon and the studio behind it has some announcements to make about what’s new.
After Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and ahead of the second Lara compilation, now expected for February 2025, Aspyr returns with another collection of remastered games. Legacy of Kain is therefore entitled to a compilation of his first two Souls Reaver adventures.
Graphical overhaul and new features for Legacy of Kain Remastered
As with the adventures of Miss Croft, the Legacy of Kain games are being completely rewritten for the occasion. Graphically, the work seems to be back, but always with that old-school touch. The textures are much more detailed, the modeling has been revised, it is much nicer. Some will find fault with this, but the studio wanted it, just like with Tomb Raider. However, there will also be new features, sometimes game mechanics imported from newer episodes, or new additions that are simply useful, even necessary.
Aspyr therefore informs us of this remastered versions of Souls Reaver 1 & 2 have the right to a compassto guide the players without taking them by the hand, but also a card in order to find your way around better. The studio also added a menu that allows you to track the progress of our collectibles. Note that purists can do without all of these innovations.
