The Switch 2 rumor mill continues to roll with no signs of slowing down. Nintendo previously stated back in May that the actual announcement of the console would happen before the end of the fiscal year this coming March. It’s now October and the fiscal year ends in just 5 months. So all that is going on is rumours.
For example, PH Brazil now says that Nintendo is reportedly courting some third-party developers to release some remasters on Nintendo’s hybrid console, while Nintendo itself remains busy with the Switch 2. PH Brazil notes that games slated to be remastered on the Switch include Splinter Cell Blacklist and Driver 1 and 2. Rayman 3 is also mentioned, although PH Brazil mentions that they are not sure if this is related to today’s Rayman rumors.
However, not everything is specifically named. Ubisoft has 2 other untitled games that they plan to remaster for the Switch. EA has some Wii games coming. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco also has something in the works, though it’s only mentioned that they have a PS3 game being remastered. Apparently they have something else, but it is not known what exactly it is.
