Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 has received a new patch with expected additions to fix some issues from the previous update.
It’s definitely one of the best surprises of the year. Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 had everyone on the same page when it was released. The shooter was still highly anticipated after raising the temperature several times with significant presentations. Now that Space Marine 2 is a hit, more projects related to the license are expected, players are just waiting for one thing: fresh blood. That’s good, the updates come pretty quickly one after the other, the studio isn’t lagging behind.
Another big update for Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 offers multiple game modes that you can play alone or with brave comrades. The main ones are of course the campaign mode, which offers us several more internal missions that we can complete alone or in collaboration, but for the rest we have to turn to the operations side. It’s this mode that’s designed to make players stay. Missions that can be completed together and repeated by leveling up different classes to become more and more efficient. At release, the game only featured a handful of missions, which could become a bit redundant. Luckily, the studio is on a war footing and a new update added a free mission just last week.
However, some glitches have crept in and the studio has already responded by providing a new patch. A new patch has been released with a ton of fixes and many expected additions, especially regarding balancing. As for the difficulty level, for example, it has been adjusted to provide even more challenge, perhaps even visibly. As a result, the studio is bringing things back into balance by reducing the appearance rate of enemies. Even in operational mode, the weapons go through the workshop and almost all of them are reworked. We’ll show you all of this in detail below.
