Apple announced a few days ago that iOS 18.1 would be available to all users next week. The date is not yet official but it is expected that around October 28 this update will be available to all users, knowing that a future launch of new Macs is also expected. However, a few hours after this announcement Apple has launched the first developer beta of iOS 18.2, the next big update integrates new Apple Intelligence functions like the ChatGPT integration, the function of Genmoji o Visual intelligence.

The work Apple is doing with the iOS 18 updates is something planned and premeditated. Remember that even before the launch of iOS 18 in September, the first beta version intended for developers of iOS 18.1 had already been launched in mid-summer, the first update that would integrate the first Apple Intelligence functions. The same thing happened a few hours ago with iOS 18.2, since even before the release of iOS 18.1, of which the first beta version for developers is now available.
