Mail bird

We tested Mailbird, a fairly simplified email alternative that could make your life easier. It is a tool that works perfectly on various platforms, such as Windows and Mac, the latter being the most recent novelty. We tested Mailbird for Mac and tell you what our experience was.

The truth is that design-wise, Mailbird didn’t tell us anything that we hadn’t already heard from other companies. ORn simplistic design, easy to navigate, but inevitably reminiscent of the native macOS Mail application in all its versions.

Mailbird allows us to track emails, receiving notifications about who and when opened certain emails. This type of tracking is already available on other platforms, such as Microsoft Outlook, so, in principle, it is not one of its most striking features.

While it is true that Mailbird synchronizes perfectly with other applications such as Slack, Dropbox or Google Calendar. Again, features already found in other completely free email managers, like Mail.

That being said, I find that Mailbird makes a lot more sense on Windows, where perhaps we are missing a native and free version of the email manager, since Microsoft Outlook is linked to the Office 365 subscription.

We have a quick reading function, and the ability to unsubscribe from certain platforms, as well as block senders, which would increase our productivity.

Finally, Mailbird allows us to directly search for attachments, and even generates emails to thanks to its absolute integration with ChatGPT, yes, you have to log in and you will only be able to use the “mini” version for free, so Microsoft Outlook Copilot wins in this area.

The truth is that we didn’t like Mailbird, and neither did its update subscription system. For the rest, you can take a look at the official website.
