There’s not much time left this year for it to be released in any way, but Digital Extremes has finally (roughly) confirmed when you can play Warframe 1999.
Ever since Digital Extremes released Warframe 1999 last year, many Tenno have been eager to get their hands on it, and while it’s been known for some time that it would be released in 2024, a price or release date hasn’t been provided yet. Unfortunately, there’s still no 100% accurate release date, but Digital Extremes has at least provided a release window: December! Considering October is basically over (and Halloween means less and less as Christmas chocolates hit stores earlier and earlier, if you ask me), you have little time to wait for upcoming updates.

“Our biggest update of the 20th century will arrive this December, when Warframe: 1999 launches on all platforms,” explains Digital Extremes on the Warframe website. It also states that you should make sure your account is ready to “ensure you can hit the ground running on launch day,” but again doesn’t specify when. December is already so close, you can only imagine an exact date is coming, so keep an eye out for that date in the meantime. If you can’t wait to give it a try, there’s a demo available to play now, too.
