There are now increasing indications that other problems may occur in addition to the problems confirmed by Microsoft.

If you have noticed more crashes, the following can help:
- Goes into the BIOS the next time you start the PC. It usually shows which key to press. Often it is Delete, F1 or another function key.
- Switch to the advanced settings.
- Now open the settings for the internal graphics card.
- Changes the status to “Disabled”.
- Saves the change.
- Restarts the PC.
Internet connection problems
The internet connection problems affect both the connection via Wi-Fi and Ethernet. The problem here is said to be an incorrect assignment of the local IP address.
In addition to the suggestion of assigning a fixed IP address, Windows Latest also suggests changing a specific service in the registry.
But be careful: the changes have a deep impact on the system. It is advisable to create a backup before making any changes.
You assign a fixed IP in Windows 11 as follows:
- Opens the start menu.
- Launches the Settings app.
- Go to Network and Internet.
- Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet here (depending on how the device connects to the Internet).
- Enables hardware properties.
- Click on the Edit button next to IP Assignment.
- Enter fixed values for IPv4 and/or IPv6 (IP address, subnet mask and gateway).
- Click Save.
Devices are not visible on the network
The third problem concerns sharing files and printers on the network. Some devices should no longer be available for these functions on affected devices.
Some users were able to fix the problem as follows:
- Opens the start menu.
- Type services.msc and press Return.
- Searches the Feature Search Resource Publish (FDResPub) list.
- Double-click the service to open it.
- Changes the startup type from Manual to Automatic.
- Closes all windows.
- Restarts the PC.
