Tomorrow, October 29, 2024, Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released, a story adventure that will cause heated emotions even before its release. However, the tone is so violent that Don’t Nod’s creative director now has to intervene.
As is well known, Life is Strange: Double Exposure continues the story of Max Caulfield. If you bought the deluxe edition of the title, you were able to start playing the first two episodes two weeks ago. Some people have done that and some of them are not at all satisfied.

Because a real shitstorm is currently breaking out on Twitter about Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The reason for this is primarily because fans don’t like the direction Max’s story is taking.
Certainly a reason for criticism, but the tone sometimes turns very aggressive, and some messages directed at the development studio Deck Nine are downright hateful. Not a nice development, which is now even bringing one of the creative minds behind the first part of the series onto the scene.
Don’t Nods Creative Director Michel Koch makes it very clear that for him hate cannot be justified by anything. Although he admits that he hasn’t played Life is Strange: Double Exposure himself, the reactions are definitely exaggerated.
However, he explicitly wanted to exclude constructive feedback from his criticism; he was primarily concerned with toxic groups on the internet that spread pure hatred: “You can be disappointed, you can wish for other narratives for the characters you love, or other stories… But ultimately, creative work is difficult and very subjective, and if you don’t like the story of Double Exposure, that doesn’t erase what you had in mind.”
You can see Life is Strange: Double Exposure for yourself from October 29, 2024. This tomorrow the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
