Disney Dreamlight Valleyis the next expansion called Storybook Valewill be released on November 20, developer Gameloft announced on Tuesday. The expansion costs $29.99 alone and $59.99 for the base game Storybook Valewhich will be published in two parts.
The first part, titled “Welcome to the Vale,” adds a new plot; three new biomes; and new characters like Merida BraveFlynn Rider by Confusedand Hades from Hercules. There’s a new tool, the Royal Net, that can be used to catch cute paper animals. The three new biomes are Ever After, the Bind and Mythopia. Each has its own new companion animals such as dragons, owls and winged horses.
The second part of the expansion, titled “The Unwritten Realms,” is expected in summer 2025 and will add the iconic Disney villain Maleficent to the game.
Gameloft announced the new expansion in a game showcase released on Tuesday, along with information about upcoming free updates Disney Dreamlight Valley. The showcase included a content roadmap that alludes to the addition of Jasmine and Aladdin in early 2025 Alice in Wonderland‘s Cheshire Cat sometime in 2025. The area beneath Skull Rock is expected to be released in the summer of 2025.
